There are so many nice east coast vacation spots, that it is really difficult to determine the coolest one. Starting from Key West in Florida up to the Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari in Santa Claus, Indiana, you can find some very good vacation spots almost within each 100 miles.

Considering that in a current dynamic world, vacations are the way out of everyday routine, I will list top five destinations, which can give you exceptional relaxation and enjoyment.

First Spot- Key West in Florida

Key West is a south most city of US, located just 90 miles from Cuba. You can choose to fly to Key West or even better to take a ride by car from Miami. It is just 130 miles via scenic two-lane road and the drive itself will be a good start of vacations.  Key West is a Caribbean style paradise in United States with attractions to everyone. In Key West, you will find both – small town hotels and large ocean front resorts, so you will have great verity of choices.

Next favorite in my east coast vacation spots list is Charleston in South Carolina.

Charleston is unique with its history, as this is the place where all the famous historical actions, you have probably read in the books, has taken place. It is ranked fourth city in the United States according to Travel + Leisure magazine. The first thing you will want to do in Charleston is taking a walk in a historical city as its architecture will tell you its own story about this magnificent place. Besides the history city offers all kinds of attractions, including a different kind of harbor tours, charters, high speed boat tours, waterfront parks, golf tournaments, spa’s and many other recreation opportunities. You will definitely be delighted with the visit to Charleston.

Third in the east coast vacation spots list is Birmingham, Alabama.

Blessed with the good weather throughout the year Birmingham is an excellent destination for all who appreciates the beauty of nature. Starting with its famous Golf courses and mountain parks, up to the fishing, biking, hiking, canoeing, and horseback riding, you will find a lot of things to do and experience. Birmingham offers a great variety of culture and entertainment as well.

Forth Spot – Cape May, New Jersey.

Located where the Delaware Bay meets the Atlantic Ocean, Cape May is a world famous travel destinations.  Although it is more summer place, Cape May offers a great variety of attractions throughout the year. Cape May’s things to do include the scope of art & culture, boating, fishing and other water activities, family friendly occupations, different fitness and sport activities and superior choice of relaxation types.

As a fifth in my east coast vacation spots list comes Niagara Fall, New York.

Niagara Fall thanks to its magnificent waterfall are an exceptional place to visit. I would say that it is one of those destinations you need to visit once in a lifetime. Breathtaking waterfall with its enormous power is of course the major attractions. The most popular tour in Niagara Fall is Maid of The Mist scenic boat tour. It will show you both waterfalls.
